About Salubrum
We built the intent layer healthcare marketing was missing.
Salubrum was founded in 2021 on one persistent observation from inside health system marketing teams: campaigns were targeting entire DMAs when only a small fraction of any market was actually evaluating care. The fix wasn't creative — it was data architecture.
Our Mission
Make healthcare acquisition spending match actual care intent
Healthcare marketing isn't short on budget or creativity. It's short on the right data. Geo-targeted campaigns and demographic segments reach everyone in a market — but only a fraction of any market is actively evaluating a specific service at any given time. Salubrum built the intent signal infrastructure to close that gap.
We're not a general-purpose DSP or a broad health-interest data provider. Our focus is narrow: predict which individuals are entering a care-evaluation window at the condition level, de-identify that output, and make it usable by any healthcare marketing team with a DSP seat.
Founder Story
Osama Usmani
Founder & CEO
Osama spent the better part of a decade working at the intersection of audience data and healthcare marketing in New York — first inside digital health media, later as a strategy consultant to regional health systems navigating the shift from broadcast to programmatic. In both roles, he kept running into the same structural problem: health system marketing teams had budgets and creative, but their audience data was geography and demographics. There was no way to identify patients actually entering a care-evaluation window.
The standard answer — retarget people who searched for your service — arrived too late and too expensively. He wanted to get upstream of the search. In 2021, he founded Salubrum in New York City to build the intent signal infrastructure that makes that possible: de-identified behavioral and contextual signals, scored at the condition level, before a patient ever reaches a search engine.
Osama leads strategy and client partnerships and is involved in every account. Salubrum does not operate a managed programmatic desk under his name — clients work with the team directly.
Our Values
Precision. Transparency. Responsibility.
Precision
Every product decision is evaluated against the question: does this make targeting more precise or less? We don't add features that add noise. We add features that sharpen signal.
Transparency
We document our methodology in detail and make it available for client review. Healthcare procurement teams have every right to understand what they're buying. We make that easy.
Responsibility
We work at the intersection of data and health. That means being precise about what our platform does and does not do. We do not claim HIPAA certification — HIPAA has no such certification. We do not pass PHI through our model. We describe our data practices accurately, and we put that documentation in writing for client compliance teams to evaluate.
